I am opening my studio for classes, here in Saranac, NY, to students who wish to learn new sewing skills or improve their existing ones. Internships are also available on a limited basis. I have been sewing since I was 11, and from there, studied Goldsmithing and Textiles in college, striving to blend my love of materials and mixed media, textiles, color and pattern mixing! With my passion for fashion, I plunged into a 35 year career in the fashion jewelry business moving from designer to creative director! Taking all my experiences, along with my care for this planet, I launched my own business – Restored by Design in 2010.

I create one of a kind woman’s apparel and accessories using up excess materials, preloved materials, vintage fabrics and lace, and dead stock (even from the back of a closet).
