Cool film tour hosted by the Lake Champlain Chapter of Trout Unlimited at Plattsburgh State at a famiy-friendly time (1-3pm) on Saturday, March 7!
The Lake Champlain Chapter of Trout Unlimited cordially invites you to attend the HOOK’E Film tour on March 7th, at the SUNY University Campus in Plattsburgh NY.
We partnered with HOOK’E, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation, to present this beautiful film series so we can help educate the North Country citizens of the importance of the Landlocked Atlantic Salmon that migrate to spawn every fall in the Saranac River.
The Saranac River is a historic salmon spawning river. Our hope is to improve the rivers ecology, and the economics of the region by having a high-quality salmon fishery that rivals the salmon rivers of Canada.
If you want to learn more about the Atlantic salmon, please join us for a few hours to enjoy these great award-winning films.
Respectfully,
The Lake Champlain Chapter of Trout Unlimited Board
My organization, the Adirondack Council, is a part of this amazing event in Tupper Lake – hope you can join and please feel free to share! Everything is free and open to the public.
