Dannemora Free Library’s Board of Trustees has initiated two scholarship opportunities this year for graduating seniors who reside in the Towns of Dannemora and Saranac. See the details of the two scholarships below.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you this Thursday from 10:00-11:30. We will be joined by Sarah van Rijsewijk, a local author who will share about writing her new children’s book and about the world of dog sledding.
“Santa and the Sled Dogs,” a heartwarming debut children’s book, embodies the spirit of our region. The story is deeply inspired by Sarah’s family homestead, Moonglow Acres, and over 15 years of dog sledding adventures with her Alaskan Malamutes, all nestled in the heart of the Adirondack wilderness.
