About the Program
The homeschool program will take place on Tuesdays from January 6 – March 31, 2026, from 10am-2pm. Most Tuesdays, we will have informal group games for all abilities on skis in the field behind the building from about 11:00 or 11:30am until we break for lunch. In previous years, we had special days where we did music jams and horsedrawn sleigh rides. Stay tuned to this blog (and the NCH facebook group) for updates in case of inclement weather.

Families are welcome to come earlier and stay later. The VIC building is open from 9:00am-5:00pm, and indoor bathrooms are available to the public. Families are free to ski or snowshoe the trails at their own pace and use the building throughout the day. VIC trails are open dawn to dusk.

Homeschoolers are welcome to visit the displays inside the building, use the classroom, library reading room, and any educational tools and games.

Titus Mountain Homeschool Downhill Ski Program Winter 2026

Here’s the information for this coming winter’s Homeschool Titus Mountain Ski Program!  There are five Fridays included in the program.  You may choose to buy a lesson, a lesson and lift tickets, or a lesson, lift tickets, and rental.  You may choose either skis or snowboard.  (If an individual misses a lesson, there is no make up session for that individual; if the whole group misses due to weather, however, a group make up session may be negotiated.)

All lessons begin at 10:00am, so participants should give themselves time prior to that to pick up their gear, check in, and gear up.  The dates for the program in 2026 are as follows:

January 9, 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 2026.

The rates are the same as last year. The full package rate for an individual student is $270, which includes lift, lesson, and rentals.  If you have your own skis, it costs $180.  If you have your own skis and your own lift ticket, but you would like to purchase the lessons for your child, the cost is $90 for the five weeks of lessons.  Adult prices for the lesson program are $435 for full package, $290 for lift and lesson, and $145 for lesson only.

I need all the forms (see below for separate youth and adult forms) and a check for the full amount made out to me by December 12. Please email me for my mailing address at cynthiagorgas@gmail.com
