2. Teen/Preteen Meet up/Game time
3. Art Museum Field Trip
This Thursday, November 4th, is a Homeschool Thursday Drop-In at the Lake Placid Public Library, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Free parking is available in the St. Eustace Church lot – just leave a note or library card on your dashboard. Drop-In hours allow families time to explore various stations in the children’s rooms, while ensuring social distancing as families will not all arrive at once. Stations will highlight books and materials related to core subjects, in addition to a few highlighting project ideas/homeschooling resources with take-away supplies. Karen and I (both NYS certified teachers) will also be available to assist with book selection, research projects, STEAM supplies/ideas, etc. Last Thursday’s program at St. Eustace was such a treat, exploring the multi-disciplinary nature of cooking – if you were unable to join us, we have extra activity supplies and books (!!) for you. We look forward to seeing you sometime this Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to assist your family on your educational journey.
